The office interior of PT Borden Eagle Indonesia in Trembesi Office Tower, BSD, South Tangerang.

PT Borden Eagle Indonesia markets the Cap Lang brand and runs its management and marketing from the 9th floor of Trembesi Office Tower in BSD City. We worked on this office from March to August 2023, according to our site documentation.

The character of the space is built from timber slats. A slatted ceiling welcomes visitors at a dark-walled reception desk with the red eagle logo and brass panels, while curved slat partitions divide the workspace without shutting out the light from the windows. Green appears as an accent on the seating nooks, the meeting chairs and the break corners, and a curved yellow sofa is the meeting point of the lounge.

For gatherings there is a carpeted circular tiered seating area and a meeting room with a long oak table complete with cable channels. The open work area has white storage cabinets, and a corridor lined with timber partitions leads to the supporting rooms.

The gallery shows the work from construction stages through to the finished result.

From the eagle-logo lobby to the timber-slat workspace.

  • The oval reception desk in deep green fluting with a brass edge. Small details like this make a lobby feel designed, not just built.
  • Timber slats that curve with the corridor: we shape the space without shutting out the window light.
  • A curved yellow banquette we made to measure for this lounge corner.
  • A meeting room we fitted with timber shelving and a glass whiteboard panel, so the team can get straight to work.
  • An oak meeting table the length of the room with a hidden cable channel. Tidy to the eye, practical to the hand.
  • A carpeted circular tier for relaxed meetings and presentations. A workplace with a place to gather is never quite the same again.
  • A dark slat partition with a bright green bench: a little colour is enough to bring a room to life.
  • A curved timber-slat wall in the open work area, with a high table for quick discussions.
  • A round glass-topped table in front of a timber-slat panel, made to suit the room.
  • The lobby entrance with its curved wall and eagle logo. We like designing entrances that make guests want to go further in.
  • A slatted timber ceiling fanning out from one centre point. Work like this we handle ourselves, down to the last detail.
  • A dark slat partition that separates areas without making the room feel small.
  • A glazed meeting nook with two round tables against a timber-slat wall.
  • A tall slat screen divides the meeting area from the workspace while keeping it bright and open.
  • The open work area with timber-clad columns. Columns that usually get in the way, we make part of the design.
  • The main corridor between the timber partition and the workstations, planned so people move comfortably.
  • Partitioned workstations with green and red chairs. An efficient layout is what we do well.
  • Curved-edge meeting tables that combine into one large shape to suit the meeting of the day.
  • Detail of the oak meeting table with integrated cable channel and outlets: comfort we think of before you notice it.
  • A small meeting room with open shelving and a glass presentation screen. Small size is no reason to lack class.
  • A dark-panelled meeting room with a long table and windows toward the city.
  • A pantry with white cabinets and a light-framed mirror, where the team can take a proper break.
  • A green seating niche peeking through the slat partition: a small surprise we tuck into the space.
  • A green upholstered alcove with a downlight: a quiet corner to make a call or think.
  • Built-in cabinetry we measured and made to fit the wall, including a place for the printer.
  • The lift lobby with a slatted timber ceiling and a warmly lit recess. Even transit spaces deserve design.
  • Dark timber panels going in mid-construction. You can see how the space takes shape.
  • The open work area with a timber screen and the long corridor beyond.
  • A broad open workspace kept orderly by low cabinets and a high table.
  • A shared desk with white storage behind it. Your office can be this orderly too.
  • A round high table with a timber top: a small meeting point that makes conversation easier.
  • A round table with task chairs in the discussion area by the window. Have an office you want reworked? Tell us about it.
