The interior of the Firepot hot pot restaurant at Mall Artha Gading, North Jakarta.

Firepot is a hot pot restaurant brand with outlets in Jakarta, including Mall Artha Gading, PIK Avenue and Hublife, as well as in Malang. The food is meant to be shared, so the room is laid out for group dining: long tables with stone-pattern tops, red banquette seating along the walls, and chairs in red and grey-green.

The walls are clad in diagonal timber-slat panels combined with grey panels in gold accents, giving the dining room a visual rhythm along its length. A large mural of people enjoying hot pot is the focal point, and a neon sign reading "You are what you eat, eat Firepot and you becoming hot" sharpens the brand's character. An open kitchen with a serving counter faces the dining room, and a private dining room with a round table is available for groups.

Construction was preceded by working drawings, floor plans and 3D visuals dated November 2019. The gallery below includes photographs of the finished restaurant, the 3D visuals and the restaurant layout plan.

Shared tables, diagonal walls and the plan behind them.

  • A large mural about sharing hot pot. We work with the brand owner so the story is built into the wall.
  • The neon sign that greets guests first. Brand identity translated into space.
  • The main dining room with the open kitchen behind: we plan the flow so staff and guests never get in each other's way.
  • A private dining room with a round table and pendant light: a place we prepare for family celebrations.
  • The private room from another angle, with yellow and grey tiled panels we laid piece by piece.
  • Diagonal timber-and-grey panels giving the dining room its rhythm. A wall that tells a story, not just a boundary.
  • Banquette seating along the diagonal wall, with a brass rail that gives privacy without blocking the view.
  • Stone-top tables built to stand up to the daily pace of a busy restaurant.
  • Grey-green and red chairs along the panelled wall: colours that make a restaurant warm and memorable.
  • The long red banquette with "eat firepot and enjoy" lettering. Furniture we make ourselves in our own workshop.
  • The private dining room seen from beside the round table.
  • Rows of tables with red banquettes and wall lettering: a layout that seats many guests without feeling crowded.
  • The kitchen counter with brass glass shelf and a front-of-house basin. Function neatly arranged behind the look.
  • A dining booth with a red banquette and stone table, comfortable for a long shared meal.
  • The red banquette running below the wall lettering, upholstered and fitted by our team.
  • Detail of the grey tiled wall panel with yellow accents. Neat joints like this are what set a finish apart.
